When an Environmental Health Officer comes to call on your food business are you ready? Whether it is a routine inspection; relating to a customer complaint of food poisoning; or worse a product recall it is important that you respect the visiting enforcement officer from the outset.
During the inspection, the enforcement officer will work in accordance with the Food Law Code of Practice and Food Law Practice Guidance with their sole aim to ensure you are meeting food hygiene and safety requirements and that the food you are producing and selling is safe for customers to eat.
